Walking up to a grand building, you read the engraving of beautiful stone words etched into the white marble wall: "Ranking Center." Stepping into the building you see an old man sitting at the front desk. He eyes you for a brief momment as he looks you up and down. "Ahh...I see you wish to increase your rank. Well you've come to the right place. I know everything there is to know about increasing your rank within The Last Light Guild. Be warned however...my expectations are high, and only the chosen few pass my quests in hopes to one day acheive the highest possible ranks available to them. Are you sure you are up to the task?"

At The Last Light we have a total of 6 ranks. Within these 6 ranks theres 3 special ranks and 3 normal ranks. The difference between these ranks being only a select few people can obtain the special ranks and there's a maximum number of people who can obtain some of these ranks. Well since I do not wish to bore you...lets continue with the ranks, the amount of rank points needed to achieve these ranks, and how you can go about acquiring enough points to reach these ranks.

*Normal Ranks*

Apprentices: These are the newest members within the guild. Apprentices focus on improving themselves in the best possible way that they can. They know that through hard work and dedication they can achieve the experience necessary to achieve that coveted rank up.

Rank points needed: 0

How to increase to next rank:
  • Must have passed their trial phases, 50 pts

  • Must have passed a trial run (pretty simple huh :-p), 50 pts

Low Journeyman: Some guildmembers acquire this rank after immediate completion of their trial run phases, some don't. This is considered the "real" first obtainable rank within the guild. When you move up to this rank you will be assigned a sqaud with 3 other Low Journeymen. This squad will be your main party/grinding/pvp/guild war team. More information on squads can be found at the Squad Tactics Center in the Squad Quarters. Must be at least level 55 to reach this rank.

Rank points needed: 100

How to increase in rank:

  • Attend 2 out of the four monthly guild meetings [20 pts, 10 pts each guild meeting.]

  • Completion of any F and/or E ranked missions required to rank up up [pts vary with each mission. said missions can be found in the Squad Quarters.]

  • Completion of "special required mission." [found at Squad Quarters as well]

Journeyman: These individuals have traveled near and far within the land of Xen. Their main concern is finding out everything they possibly can about the layout of Xen, hence the name journeyman. Through long hardships they have been able to reach an almost unnatural knowledege about not only Xen but also about their squad members/leader. On the battlefield they are not to be taken lightly. Must be at least level 66 to reach this rank.

Rank points needed: 1000

How to increase in rank:

  • Attend 2 out of the four monthly guild meetings [20 pts, 10 pts each guild meeting.]

  • Completion of any D and/or C ranked missions required to rank up. [pts vary with each mission. said missions can be found in the Squad Quarters.]

  • Completion of "special required mission." [found at Squad Quarters as well.]

High Journeymen: Like the name says, these individuals are some of the highest ranked members within the guild and within their squads. In times of dire need they will be called upon for a number of reasons. Whether it be to lead their squads/guild mates during guild wars/pvps or "grind" parties in general, these are the people that will be assigned these tasks. The high journeymen call proudly say that they have braved some of the most challeging hardships, have went head to head against some of the lands vilest beasts, and have contributed towards the guild's victory in pvps/guildwars. They truly are the best of the best! Must be at least level 84 to reach this rank.

Rank points need: 2500

How to increase in rank:

  • Attend 2 out of the four monthly guild meetings [20 pts, 10 pts each guild meeting.]

  • Completion of any B and/or A ranked missions required to rank up. [pts vary with each mission. said missions can be found in the Squad Quarters.]

  • Completion of "special required mission(s)." [found at Squad Quarters as well.]

*Special Ranks*

The thing that sets the Special Ranks apart from the Normal Ranks (besides the ones previously stated) is that the High Council will be the ones that will hand pick these individuals. If you feel however that you have what it takes to be considered for this rank, then by all means please lets us know.

Squad Leaders: The squad leaders are like the generals within an army. They are some of the best and strongest members within The Last Light. Note however that being strong in terms of level is not what we are exclusively looking for. Their main jobs will be leading their squads in grind parties, certain quests, and of course guild wars and pvps. They make up some of the best leaders/warriors that the guild has to offer, in short they are the chosen few. The size of the guild will more than likely determine the number of squad leaders. As it currently stands their will be no more than 5 squad leaders. 25 members, 5 squads, 5 squad leaders ^^

Low Council: The Low Council are the head of their specific division. *If you didn't already know there are 6 divisions within The Last Light: SOUL,BURST,GREEN ARROWS,HOLY SYNDICATE,ASCENSION,SPIRIT. Each divison represents one of the 6 classes within SoS*. Therefore there will be no more than 6 Low Council members within the guild. Though it is not mandatory, The Low Council are free to appoint a subordinate, someone who they trust will do well with this position. These candidates should however be looked over by the High Council. One thing I'd like to ask though is to don't choose favorites. They make sure their division is performing at its best and will be responsible on keeping tabs on who in their division has what equipment from the guild armory. They keep tabs concerning their members paying dues, and are donating to the guild.

High Council: Are the leaders of the guild, they have the final say in all matters relating to it. They make sure the guild is running smoothly & guild members are cooperating. Will be guild master and 2 co-masters. I'll try to make it so that each High Council member represents a division or two (ie. regular classes and brach off classes). Please do not ask to be apart of the High Council, these individuals will be handpicked by myself.
